OT: Never to Early to Start...(April Fools)

For every message DOVE sends out, there is an opposite (mainstream?) school of thought...

Is this right for us?
What soon-to-be-parent hasn’t had the dreaded fear, kept secretly to themselves, that their newborn baby would not be as pretty or as handsome as they’d hoped. With all of the advances in laser and reconstructive surgery, these fears are now a thing of the past.

Why haven't I heard of this before?
Ten years ago, an ugly baby was something that you had to live with. That was then. Today, the practice of cosmetic surgery for children as young as two months is becoming widely accepted. At that age, the bone and cartilage development is still malleable and easy for a skilled surgeon to work with.

What is it?
Cosmetic Reconstructive Altering Baby Surgery (CRABS) is performed to enhance or change a healthy, normal, functioning part of the baby's body. The Early Life Cosmetics Surgery Centre is Canada's first 'baby only' plastic surgery centre, specializing in those 'ugly babies' under 5 months of age. The ELC has many services available, including chin alterations, protruding foreheads, eye ridge definition, and the big hit with Pageant Parents - ear bosselations. We strive to restore function or to achieve physical normality.

Is my baby too young?
No. But they can be too ugly. The earlier the baby goes under the knife, the better. The last thing you want is your baby growing up, going to school and being teased because he/she is ugly.

Can I finance my plastic surgery procedure?
Sure. We have professionals that specialize in helping good people with poor credit, no credit, or bankruptcy, and help you and your child get a fresh start. We also have a No Money Down / Trade-up program available to those who qualify. Don't let money get in the way of you and your child's happiness!
